It is amazing how busy we are, even though school is out. Jordan played a soccer game last night and another today. He had a birthday party to go to as well today. Brooklyn is going camping with Grandma and Grandpa, so we spent a lot of today getting her ready. Throw in a very active one year old, and I don't mind saying, I am tired. I love being a full time mom and I can not even imagine how moms' with full time jobs do it. My hat goes off to them!
This trip of Brooklyn's, is the first trip she has taken without her mom and dad. I hope that she enjoys her time with her grandparents. They are so good to her. Grandpa even managed to secure Jonas Brothers concert tickets for July 2nd. Brooklyn, Jordan and their cousins are very excited. Guess who gets to be the chaperon? That's right, moi! How am I going to survive? Earplugs, heavy duty, industrial strength, earplugs, supplied by my wonderful dad, who voted me chaperon.
Jordan is staying home with me because he has a soccer game Monday evening. We are going to meet up with Grandma and Grandpa on Wednesday. I hope that I will be able to spend some one on one time with Jordan. It is so hard to do during the school year. We seem to be able to spend a lot of time as a whole family, but not so much on a one to one basis. Maybe we will have good weather and can go to the zoo. They have the best ice cream around (oh, and the animals are fun to see too!)
